BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council). At present, hundreds of industry associations in more than 110 countries, such as the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, and more than 200 universities around the world, recognize BTEC qualifications. 95% of British universities accept BTEC qualifications for university application. BTEC courses are designed to be practical and promote genuine skill development. As such, they are often a preferred qualification (Compared to A-Levels, or other mainly theory-based qualifications) for university programs that are practical skills focused (Such as Art and Design, Music and Performing Arts). Upon completion of the BTEC program, students will have earned a qualification that enables them to progress to university or gain employment, both domestically and internationally.
To meet the economic development and occupational requirements in the Great Bay Area, the country and even the world, MAS customised the following nine characteristic courses. This combines characteristics of MAS with the global development trend, the 14th Five-Year Plan, and strategic deployment of Vision 2035 Plan, from the perspectives of new economy, new technology, new business and new career development.
