APPLICATIONS PROCESS

  • Accepted

    Parents will receive an offer letter by email 5 working days after assessments. Parents to accept the offer within 5 working days.

  • Declined

    Parents will receive a letter by email. Students may reapply after 6 months if appropriate and having completed and evidenced any recommendations.

  • Waiting List

    If there are more candidates than places available, the application will be placed on the waiting list.

  • Step 1

    Follow the official WeChat account of Merchiston Songshan Lake Academy;

  • Step 2

    Make payment of non-refundable application fee of RMB 1,000;

  • Step 3

    Complete and submit the application form (MAS Admissions Officer will offer this form to you.)

  • Step 4

    Both parents and students come to school for face-to-face interview at the appointed time (Alternative online interview is possible due to Covid-19 restrictions). Students access the entry assessment (including CAT4 and WIDA).

  • Step 5

    Provide all supporting documentation:  
    • Candidates from Mainland China provide ID cards while candidates from Hong Kong or other countries or regions provide passports.
    • A recent uncapped, frontal, colored, two-inch, digital photo with white background, less than 3MB
    • The application form
    • The transcript of records for the last 2 years, or academic results of standardized test.
    • Curriculum vitae (optional).
    • Certificates or proof of awards (optional).
