Head of Performing Arts & Music and Drama Teacher

Nationality: Australian

Daniel holds a Master degree of Teaching and double Bachelor degree of Music and Psychology.

Daniel studied for his music and teaching degree at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He later completed a Bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University in Sydney to better understand childhood development. Daniel is currently a Music teacher at Northholm Grammar School in Sydney and has previously taught in Shanghai and Hangzhou.

Daniel is a firm believer in the power of the creative arts to build creativity and confidence in children. He has conducted both choirs and bands and worked as a musical director for school and community productions. Daniel believes that creativity is a skill, and when taught properly, will apply to all areas of life well beyond school subjects.

Ever the student, Daniel enjoys learning new instruments and has recently taken up the cello. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, theatre, and traveling.
