David completed both an HND and BSc in Tourism & Hospitality Management at the Universities of Central Lancashire and Bolton respectively. Following which, he completed a Trinity TESOL at Liverpool John Moores University. Initially, instead of pursuing an EAL Teaching position, David joined Merseyside Police where he worked as a Police Constable. In a distinguished career, David worked in a variety of roles for fourteen years and served several communities across the city of Liverpool. In 2018, David left his policing career to follow a lifetime ambition of teaching English in China. David is heavily into health and fitness and has competed in several mountain races and marathons.
